LegalSoft Alliance Program
An app for partners who refer law firms and candidates to LegalSoft’s staffing business
The LegalSoft Alliance Program is an app for people who refer business to Virtual Staffing, LegalSoft's remote staffing company for US law firms. Partners sign up with their phone number, sign the program's agreements in the app, refer law firms that need staff and people looking for work, and track the commissions they are owed.

Virtual Staffing, at virtualstaffing.com, places remote legal staff inside US law firms: legal assistants, paralegals, intake specialists, case managers and more. By the company's own figures it has placed more than 2,500 people at more than 1,000 firms. The Alliance Program is its referral program: partners bring in law firms that need staff and people who want the work, and earn a commission for it.
A partner signs up with a code sent to their phone and signs the agreements on screen. They refer a firm that needs staff, or a candidate who wants the work, and follow each referral as LegalSoft takes it forward. Their dashboard shows what they have earned so far, and a calculator shows what a few more referrals would be worth.

I was the lead engineer on the app partners use. LegalSoft's own team manages the partners, agreements and commissions inside Practice 360.
It went live in April 2024.
Under the hood
Nuxt 3 single-page app with phone-code login on the Practice 360 API; about forty-five dashboard routes across fifteen modules; Stripe and live chat.
